About Us

“Scorrendo Events” and the “Scorrendo” Orchestra within were founded in 2023.

The main goal of establishing the company is to popularize the national musical heritage both in Azerbaijan and abroad. In addition, performances of works by world known music composers at various events. At the heart of our work, two main factors can be distinguished: the use of original sheet music materials and strict adherence to copyright.

“Scorrendo Events” offers the services of highly qualified, professional musicians as part of a large symphony orchestra (more than 90 musicians), a chamber orchestra, as well as small musical groups of various compositions.

Organized projects by “Scorrendo Events” are a guarantee of quality and high professionalism.

ART DIRECTOR

Mustafa Mehmandarov was born in 1992, in Baku, Azerbaijan. In 2009-2013, he studied violin at the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli. As a violinist, Mehmandarov became a laureate of international competitions in Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Italy and Austria.

The first conducting lessons he had in Baku by the famous conductor Prof. Rauf Abdullayev. In 2013-2018, Mehmandarov studied at the Vienna Conservatory in the class of Prof. Maximilian Cencic, in the faculty “Opera and Symphony conducting” Mustafa Mehmandarov is the Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the “CASPIAN VIRTUOSOS” orchestra, guest-conductor of Chamber Orchestra of TURKSOY and conductor of the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli. He has performed concerts in USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Austria, Slovakia, Turkey, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Azerbaijan etc.

In the repertoire Mehmandarov are works of European, Russian and Azerbaijani composers.
